PARISH END OF YEAR RECOLLECTION 

We are pleased to announce that there will be a PARISH END OF YEAR RECOLLECTION AT SAINT RICHARD PARISH on Saturday November 30, 2024 beginning with holy mass at 8:00 am. A day of recollection is a special time set aside to deepen our relationship with God by withdrawing from the world to be alone with God. It is a moment of prayer, reflection and turning of the mind’s eyes toward God. As we look forward to entering the special season of Advent, a recollection is of prime importance because it gives us the opportunity to pause for a moment, take a walk down memory lane and see how well we have spent our liturgical year. In this way we are able to embrace a new year with God’s guidance and renewed spirit. The day will commence with the celebration of Holy mass, followed by the exposition of the blessed sacrament, praying of the rosary, input for the day, silent meditation and personal reflection, confessions (participants will be free to meditate at the prayer garden or anywhere within the property), the day will conclude with a benediction at 1:00 pm.
